Regular washing helps your curly wig stay clean, soft, and natural-looking. Follow these simple steps for best results:
Fill a sink or basin with warm water.
Add a small amount of gentle shampoo formulated for hair care, then place the wig into the water.
Gently press the wig to release dirt and oils. Do not twist or wring the hair.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Lightly squeeze out excess water and pat dry with a towel.
If you don’t have time for a full wash, lightly mist your human hair wig with water mixed with a small amount of conditioner. Just like natural hair, added moisture helps curls regain their shape, elasticity, and freshness. This quick method refreshes curls the same way healthy natural curls revive after being slightly dampened.
Tangles can happen due to static, improper wearing, or incorrect storage. To minimize tangling and maintain softness, deep conditioning is essential.
Apply a deep conditioning treatment before and after wearing your wig. Natural oils such as coconut oil or olive oil, combined with conditioner, work well.
Avoid using too much styling product (such as hairspray), as excess buildup can increase tangling.
At least once a week, soak the wig in warm water.
Remove it from the water and generously apply conditioner, starting from the ends and gently working upward toward the roots.
Allow the wig to absorb the treatment for about 20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then finish with a cool water rinse to help seal the cuticles.
Gently blot away excess moisture using a soft towel. Do not rub—let the remaining water air-dry naturally.
